EMEA Payroll Analyst - Limerick

Gibbs Hybrid is looking for an accomplished EMEA Payroll Analyst to support the wider Payroll Team with international payroll. You will be responsible for managing payroll across multiple EMEA locations as well as reviewing payroll processes and oversight. You will also need to liaise with many other departments. 6mths contract (PAYE, Umbrella or Irish Ltd)

  • Perform daily payroll activities to ensure production of assigned payrolls including complex and year-end activities.
  • Review adjustment requests to ensure compliance with corporate policies, employment tax & payroll laws. Record monthly payroll metrics
  • Respond to employee queries to explain pay and impact of policies, tax law and related changes. Analyze existing policies & procedures to ensure compliance with tax & payroll-related laws and regulations. Recommend and implement modifications of existing payroll processes, in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with vendors and review payroll applications to ensure changes are correctly reflected on the payroll. Prepare payroll tax and general ledger accounts/activities; liaise with finance to reconcile discrepancies. Process or advice on appropriate accounting transactions to balance accounts.
  • Research and monitor regulatory and legislative changes impacting payroll areas of responsibility. Performs vendor management activities to ensure adherence to corporate vendor management standards.

Essential:

  • Several years of payroll experience: International/EMEA payroll experience is helpful
  • Experience with payroll processing including; outsourced payroll production, reconciliation, General Ledger
  • Experience with Workday is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvements
  • Knowledge of other areas of Human Resources & Finance, and their impact on payroll production activities
  • IPASS qualification is helpful
