Finance Officer | Temp - 3 months + | London/ Hybrid | £25.00 per hour (Umbrella Co.)
For a leading UK NGO, we're recruiting a temporary Finance Officer for up to 3 months to handle all day-to-day financial processes, including ledgers, reconciliations, intercompany, payments, payroll and finance compliance in Unit 4 / Agresso. The temporary Finance Officer will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders, reconcile intercompany accounts and deal with staff training on financial policies as well as deal with balance sheet reconciliations, multicurrency transactions and Gift Aid processing. Unit 4 / Agresso experience is highly desirable for this role.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing of UK office supplier payments, and maintenance of ledgers, balance sheet accounts, income recognition, tax and supplier payments into Unit 4 Agresso
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Intercompany accounts reconciliations
- Processing of invoices from suppliers
- BACs payments to suppliers and staff expense claims
- Preparation and posting of monthly payroll journals
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Monthly income processing and bank reconciliation in multiple currency
- Posting monthly FX rates and quarterly Gift Aid
- Training new staff on finance processes and policies
What you'll offer:
- AAT or part-qualified accountant
- Strong experience of Excel, and ideally Unit4 / Agresso.
- Experience of financial management within the charity sector
- Transactions, payroll and month-end experience
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Multi-currency experience
