A new, exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join a Renewable Energy business based in Birmingham. The payroll team are looking to expand a to onboard someone who is ambitious, skilled, and knowledgeable in what they do, who are in search for a change to their career.

Main duties include:

  • Processing Payroll across multiple business entities
  • Being responsible for the payroll function via outsourced payroll provider.
  • Managing Payroll calculations and transactions weekly/monthly, ensuring completion is accurate and in a timely manner.
  • Being up to date with latest legislations and have a wealth of knowledge within payroll.
  • Be the go-to for any Payroll queries, escalating where needed.
  • Knowledge of the business policies and procedures.
  • Processing timesheets, pay rates and benefits across all employees.
  • Supporting Payroll Manager with weekly and monthly end to end payroll process
  • Providing Tax Year End support with request
  • Other Ad Hoc duties.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Have minimum of 3 years Payroll experience
  • Bureau Payroll experience
  • Experience within Renewable Energy sector would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of latest Payroll legislation.
  • Computer Literate
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude
