We are looking for an experienced HR professional for a 12 month maternity cover starting in October 2024.
Paying up to £50k, offering hybrid working for a technical business who have a great culture, based in north Cambridgeshire.
You will have worked in a stand-alone HR role previously and feel comfortable operating autonomously.
Reporting to the CFO whilst managing a HR Assistant, this role requires someone who can deliver the day-to-day operational HR duties whilst be a HR partner to the business and the champion of their culture.
Duties include –
- Managing recruitment and on-boarding
- Developing policies in line with legislative change
- Managing employee relations cases as they arise
- Leading on well-being initiatives
- Leading on L&D initiatives supporting managers to develop their teams
- People planning for the future
- Providing advice and guidance to managers on employee issues

- Experience of using an ATS / HRIS
- Excellent IT skills
- A collaborator in your approach and style
- Strong attention to detail
- Supportive team player
- Excellent employment law knowledge
