Marketing Lead Offering between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum Canary Wharf, London Permanent Hybrid working (2-3 days in office)

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the consultancy's business goals and enhances our presence in capital markets, across the UK and the US, focused on our key domains

Brand Management

  • Oversee the management of the brand, ensuring consistency in messaging and image across all marketing channels and materials (tone of voice, terminology, etc)

Content

  • Write high quality and frequent pieces of content across both industry and company-related topics
  • Review and amend content produced by other members
  • Design and create graphics to support pieces of content
  • Oversee and develop content plan with support from Domain Leads to ensure the creation of high quality, engaging content tailored for the capital markets sector including white papers, case studies, blogs, podcasts and thought leadership articles, to establish the firm as a thought leader
  • Hold regular meetings with consultants to ensure content release is on track

Podcast Ownership

  • Organisation and project management of podcast series
  • Running of podcast series including planning, briefing guests, editing and writing up episode summaries

Marketing Partners

  • Coordination of our marketing and design partners, including design agencies, press, website partners, IT providers and more

Digital Marketing

  • Control social media (LinkedIn, Instagram) by posting weekly to optimise online presence and engagement
  • Follow and develop SEO plan to ensure website presence is fully optimised
  • Use analytics tools to monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to optimise strategies and demonstrate ROI to stakeholders
  • Engage in email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, as a way of hitting our audience directly

Events

  • Plan and execute industry events and webinars that promote the consultancy's expertise and solutions to a targeted audience
  • Own events tracker and lead internal meetings discussing which events the company should be attending throughout the year
  • Organise company socials for team building and morale purposes

Website

  • Make ad-hoc changes to our Webflow website, to ensure that it is relevant and up-to-date
  • Create new features on the website as and when required
  • Manage future website projects with our design agency

Business Development

  • Work closely with sales teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and the overall business strategy
  • Implement effective marketing campaigns to attract and engage potential clients, ultimately increasing the number of qualified leads and contributing to sales targets

Database Management

  • Control large contact database to ensure that individual details are up-to-date

Market Research

  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies, adapting marketing plans as necessary

Ad Hoc

  • Providing ad hoc support to senior management team and other team members as required

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (2.1 or equivalent).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, with at least 1 year in a lead role, preferably in technology consulting or financial services.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including Webflow, Google Analytics, Adobe, Mailchimp and Microsoft Office.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the financial services sector, including key players, regulatory environment, and market dynamics.
  • Written Skills:Excellent written skills with the ability to write compelling content in line with the company's tone of voice.

Desirable Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience with inbound marketing and lead nurturing.
  • Experience within capital markets and/or consultancy
  • Experience within our core domains of collateral, post-trade, risk, treasury and digital
  • Proven track record of running successful marketing campaigns that have increased sales and brand visibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a marketing team.
