Senior Finance Analyst

Butler Rose is seeking a talented and driven Senior Finance Analyst to join a dynamic company and finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring we make informed decisions that drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling: Build robust, intuitive, and flexible financial models from scratch to support strategic decision-making.

Business Understanding: Quickly develop a deep understanding of our organisation and business systems to provide accurate and insightful analysis.

Process Design & Implementation: Design and implement efficient processes involving multiple systems and inputs to create a comprehensive suite of business intelligence.

Excel Proficiency: Leverage advanced Excel skills to automate periodic reporting and create high-impact presentations.

KPI Dashboards: Develop detailed KPI dashboards tailored to individual business units, providing essential insights for performance tracking.

Forecasting & Budgeting: Update quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and recurring KPI reports to guide ongoing investment and growth decisions.

Management Reporting: Produce monthly management accounts, board packs, and provide variance analysis and commentary for management meetings and board presentations.

Project Support: Prepare ad-hoc reports to support business projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring accurate and timely financial insights.

Budget Preparation: Assist in preparing forecasts, budgets, 5-year plans, and short-term cash forecasts to ensure financial stability and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant, or QBE, with good technical knowledge
  • Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to automate reporting processes
  • Strong understanding of business systems and the ability to design and implement efficient processes
  • Experience in preparing management reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create impactful presentations
