Reed Business Support are looking for a Communications Manager to join our client's team, based in Darlington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, proofreading and editing high-quality, innovative written content.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Create and edit engaging written content that resonates with the intended target audience.
- Conduct thorough research on current and emerging market trends to ensure content is relevant and forward-thinking.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather the necessary information for technical content creation.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in document management and change control.
- Ensure all documents meet company formatting and quality standards, and compile artwork using Adobe InDesign as needed.
- Develop engaging presentation materials to support various company initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating and editing engaging written content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and other team members.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other content creation tools.
- Educated to degree level in Journalism, Marketing, Creative Writing, English, or a similar field is advantageous but not essential.
