I am actively seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher who is looking to join a team who believe each child's journey should be unique and are committed to promoting the welfare of children and young people!
The school is an all through, independent school with this role being within the Upper School. They pride themselves on understanding emotional intelligence of the children as well as the academic achievements, they want their pupils to be confident and compassionate in their capabilities and often use holistic approaches to achieve this.
This role is to start as soon as possible on a full time, long term basis with the possibility of going permanent.
You must have QTS to be considered for this role, the school will welcome applications from Design Technology Teachers with specialisms in, Food and Nutrition, Textiles, Resistant Materials, or Product Design.

Roles Requirements
- Have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- Be familiar with the National Curriculum and the Design Technology Programmes of study
- Have strong classroom management with excellent subject knowledge and to have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes
- Be able to adapt quickly with a new school environment and to be a good team player
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the update service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves
- Be based in Fareham or willing to travel into the area
Please be aware for long-term assignments you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
