Your new company We are currently recruiting a Female Service User Engagement Officer on a temporary contract from as soon as possible until November 2024, based in the East and West Sussex area.
The service aims to create a comprehensive support network for women in East and West Sussex, combining virtual and in-person peer support groups. The Women's Service User Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role, ensuring service user involvement and engagement.
By providing a platform for service users' voices, the service aims to foster genuine dialogue across the organisation, ensuring services meet the needs and desires of the users.

Your new role As part of your commitment to empowering women, you will adopt a flexible, woman-centred, trauma-informed, and asset-based approach. You recognise each woman as an expert in her own experiences. Your focus is on enhancing peer-to-peer co-production within the service. This involves managing the Community Forum, advocating for service user voices, and facilitating genuine dialogue across the organisation. You'll adapt guidance documents, provide support to service users, and foster engagement through community bridges. Additionally, you'll manage budget expenditure related to service user involvement, contribute to data recording, and collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve your service aims.
