About You

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and hard-working Yard Security Officer to join our passionate and driven security team based at Drake Circus Plymouth

This is a busy retail environment where no two days are the same.

  • SIA door supervisor licensed (Essential)
  • Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management (Essential)
  • First Aid trained (Preferred)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will join an established team in Drake Circus Plymouth to ensure the main delivery yard areas are kept safe, secure, clean and tidy. This will be achieved by patrolling, recording intake of vehicles, completing regular cleaning tasks and more. A current Door Supervisor SIA license will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client's premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions.
  • To show a professional security presence throughout the estate.
  • Greet visitors with excellent customer service while following security procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate record of the daily occurrence book, ensuring that all events are logged correctly.
  • Advising retailers, where necessary, on management regulations
  • To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company's Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans.
  • Act as a card holder with tasks in the event of an evacuation of the site
