We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in electrical design, with proficiency in PLC and HMI systems, hardware design, and AutoCAD. Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical design or related field.
  • Proficiency in PLC (Allen Bradley or Siemens), and HMI systems.
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD for electrical design.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware design and electrical PLC components.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
  • Work with PLC's (Allen Bradley or Siemens) and HMI systems to design, program, and troubleshoot.
  • Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Create and Modify I/O Schedules
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop hardware design solutions.
  • Participate in project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of designs, modifications, and project progress.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and installation teams.
  • Travel to client sites to carry out survey's, installations, commissioning, etc. both in the UK and abroad.
