SEN Teacher (Primary)
Location: LS27 Morley
Daily Rate: £150-£180 (Experience Dependent)
We are seeking a highly motivated SEN Teacher for a primary school in the LS27 Morley area. This vacancy is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to provide tailored support to each student.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential for ECTs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
