Due to growth of the business, they are in the position to bring an Electrical Estimator into the team. The successful candidate will have several years' experience in an estimating role and have a strong background in electrical services & installation projects.
- Our client will also consider intermediate candidates without an electrical background looking to progress and learn a new sector.

Electrical Estimator
Responsibilities:
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and summaries for electrical projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Review and incorporate subcontractor and supplier quotes into project estimates.
- Utilise estimating software and tools to prepare and manage estimates.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends, pricing, and labour rates.
- Provide support during the bid process, including responding to client queries and adjustments to estimates.
- Participate in project handover meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information to the project execution team.
- Monitor and evaluate project costs to ensure they align with original estimates.
Electrical Estimator
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an electrical estimating role
- Knowledge of simPRO would be a plus
- Strong analytical skills and numerically savvy
- Software proficiency
- Microsoft office suite
