HR Operations Manager - 8-12 Months FTC

Are you a dedicated HR professional looking for a new challenge on a contract basis? Do you have experience of leading HR projects?

Juice is delighted to be partnering with an exceptional professional services company in their search for HR Operations Manager, on an 8-12 month FTC.

In this role you will lead and deliver an efficient and effective HR operational service to the business aligned to the HR Strategy, managing the Operations team and providing a quality advisory service to the business.

You'll have 3-4 direct reports and enjoy a role that has huge importance in the business, working alongside the HR Director.

THE DAY TO DAY:

Operational Management

  • To oversee and supervise all HR administration day-to-day tasks and processes
  • To oversee and ensure the onboarding and off-boarding process is efficient
  • To deliver and co-ordinate all HR operational activity in the annual planner within the defined timeframes to include: Annual review process, Annual bonus, Salary reviews and benchmarking, Annual promotion process, Partner remuneration process (in conjunction with the Director of HR)
  • Collaborate effectively across the wider HR team and Business Services to enable a joined-up approach between all process linked to HR activity
  • To streamline and automate processes and systems to drive continuous improvement
  • To provide regular HR reports and monitor HR operational metrics
  • Ensure all templates and precedents are up to date
  • To keep up to date with changes in legislation and ensure the wider HR team are kept up to date
  • Review HR policies on a regular basis to ensure they are up to date and aligned with our employer brand and compliant with relevant legislation
  • Ensure HR compliance with GDPR
  • Ensure that HR Operational Systems meet the needs of the department and business
  • To ensure all data on the HR system is up to date and audited on a regular basis
  • Support and develop the HR Operations team carrying out 1-1's and reviews

Advisory Service

  • Escalate technical and strategic matters that require support from employment consultant
  • Act as a key point of contact for relevant Business Unit/Service Teams providing a consultative advisory service to managers and staff on all employee matters including performance management, restructuring and redundancy, maternity/shared paternal leave, absence, grievances and disciplinary.

WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:

  • Degree level qualification preferably in HR or business-related field
  • CIPD level 5
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
  • Experience of working in a professional services or similar background preferred but not essential
  • Ideally management experience
  • Proficient in HR systems with the ability to produce and analyse data
  • Proven experience in streamlining and improving processes
  • Experience of leading HR projects
  • Able to provide a pragmatic and commercial HR advice
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Confident and diplomatic
  • Travel to other offices will be required
