Prospero Teaching are looking for Primary Teacher, especially a Key Stage 1 specialist, where you will be working with an experienced team and in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.?

The school, based in Farnborough, in their most recent Ofsted report have been graded as "Outstanding", continuing from their previous outstanding grading. The school are made up of 9 classes, 3 in Early Years, 3 in Year 1 and 3 in Year 2 with 271 children on roll. There is always at least one Learning Support Assistant in each class and several Special Needs Assistants to provide extra support either to a year group or to individual children. The school look to ensure all Learning Support Assistants and Special Needs Assistants are well informed, well trained and part of the team.

As a Teacher at the School, your day will be varied and interesting you will be able to follow a flexible structure whilst supporting the children and young people by providing bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks that are tailor made to each child and young person.

This is a full-time contract, starting in September.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Farnborough
  • Position - KS1 Primary School Teacher
  • Start date - September.
  • Days per week: 3 days
  • Contract type - Long term.
  • Minimum rate of pay - £155 per day.
  • Hours - 8:00am - 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school.
  • Experience working with KS1 or KS2
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references.
