Contract (2 months+)
The Role:
We are looking for a personal advisor to cover maternity leave. We work with young people leaving care and support them with their health, accommodation, employment or training, finances, benefits, relationships and identity.
We have statutory responsibilities to remain in regular contact with care leavers and to update their plans every 6 months wherever they live in the UK.
This is a hybrid post and the successful applicant the candidate will be provided with all the equipment needed to support working from home.
The Candidate:
- We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the needs of young people with care experience, and additional skills such as knowledge of benefits, housing, supporting asylum seekers, and education.
- The post holder will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle as visits will be carried out
