Interim Finance Director, Herefordshire, 12 months
Our market-leading manufacturing client is recruiting a Finance Director on an interim basis. A fantastic opportunity for an experience FD to join a sizeable local employer in a role that will blend strategic leadership with team management, facilitating and ensuring budgetary control, and making recommendations to encourage the continuous improvement of financial performance.
Some of your key duties will include:
Financial accounting and reporting: delivering timely financial statements and reports.
Coordinate and lead annual audit process.
Ensure reporting processes are in place to support the ongoing and future needs of the business.
Present monthly and year-to-date financials with accompanying analysis of results.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Prepare capital investment opportunities for Board consideration.
Risk Management
Act as a key business partner, being able to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
Budgeting and Business Strategy: oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Leadership team.
Lead financial modelling and analysis to support the development of long-term strategic initiatives and business plans.
Review performance of competitors and report on key issues to management.
Overall leadership of the finance team.
Develop Finance and Accounting team goals.
Oversee continuous improvement of Accounting and Financial Processes
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with proven experience at this level. it would be beneficial to have experience of the manufacturing sector and to have worked in a sufficiently large and complex organisation with a multitude of stakeholders.
