I am seeking a Lead Network Engineer to lead technically in delivering an outstanding service to my clients shops within their retail products. The role involves transforming connectivity into a high-performance, flexible, and automated product offering to their retail colleagues. This is a full-time position based in Newcastle upon Tyne with flexible work-life balance in line with role needs.

About You
- Passionate about using technology to achieve business objectives and improve services.
- Advocate for IaC and CI/CD approaches.
- Significant experience managing large scale WAN networks.
- Extensive experience with networking technologies (firewalls, VPN, WAN technologies, VLSM).
- Advocate for improving security posture.
- Strong knowledge of telephony systems (SIP telephony) and cloud platforms/services (especially networking).
- Proactive, can-do attitude.
- Experience building trust and effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience developing and leading a team, demonstrating technical leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Meraki networking equipment (Meraki MX Gateways).
