Financial Analyst- Insurance
We are currently hiring for a Financial Analyst with an Insurance background to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:
- Review historic source system data prepared by the Data Solutions Workstream and compare to legacy data provided by Actuarial, MI, Finance.
- Support the development and ongoing execution of the various Alteryx models used to consolidate large data volumes from the Data Solutions Workstream.
- Perform detailed validation work and analytical review on the data collected and address or escalate any unexpected results or inconsistencies in data.
- Support and assist with system improvements and documentation of controls and procedures in respect of new or updated migration approach.
- Support the FPSL workstream through data migration and testing of existing build or various processes and calculations within the technical subledger.
- Understand the current and future internal and external reporting landscape and identify how these may need to change to support the needs of the business and future Finance requirements.
- Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy. These requirements include the Senior Managers and Certification Regime Conduct Rules ,Solvency II, fair treatment of customers, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, and Whistleblowing.
Experience:
- ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA Qualified accountant preferred but not essential.
- Up to date knowledge of US, UK, LUX, Spanish GAAP and IFRS desirable but not essential.
- Alteryx, or any other analytic platforms experience desirable.
- Insurance experience
- Advanced excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets using excel.
- Insurance/ Financial sector experience
- Financial reporting experience
- Experience working on large data sets
- Experience working on Financial transformation projects
