Manufacturing Engineer
Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to work for our prestigious client based in the West ByFleet area. The client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. Requirements of a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Work with the operations team to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing processes.
- Experienced in implementing modern manufacturing methods (Six sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and effectively apply them to reduce lead times and subsequently improve quality, on-time delivery and cost to the customer.
- Continuously work to reduce the levels of process scrap and rework through improved workflow techniques based on root cause analysis data (ideally 8D problem solving technique).

Role of a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Preparation/updating of new/existing manufacturing process documentation (SOP's) and associated tooling required for product manufacture.
- Implement , Control and managing of ECR's, NPIV's AP's & PFR'sDesign and control of process data, jigs & fixtures & packing specifications
- Works within company guidelines and contributes to their development, the objective being to maximise company efficiency whilst meeting customer requirements.
