Our Stroud based client is looking for an accountant to join their growing team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The office environment is a supportive and fun one where you can do meaningful work and feel truly valued while doing so.
Your key duties:
- Preparation and submission of personal and partnership tax returns
- Preparation and submission of Limited Company accounts and Corporation tax returns
- Liaising with and supporting clients in relation to the above
- General aspects of bookkeeping, including VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, reviewing financial transactions including accruals
and prepayments, depreciation and month end journals
- Statistical analysis and management reporting including cashflow forecast and budgeting
- Visiting some clients on a routine basis
Ideal candidate Skills:
- Experience managing multiple clients.
- Previous experience using Iris, Sage or Xero is essential.
- Experience using Quickbooks is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail
