Assistant Acoustic Consultant
Location: Remote opportunity - candidates can be based anywhere in the London / South East region
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 DOE

About: Our client is a leading consultancy firm who provide acoustic solutions for a diverse range of projects. From architectural acoustics to environmental noise assessments, my client prides themselves on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to their clients.
Projects: Joining as the newest member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including:
- Architectural acoustics for concert halls, theaters, and educational facilities
- Environmental noise assessments for transportation infrastructure and urban developments
- Industrial noise control for manufacturing facilities and power plants
- Building services noise and vibration assessments for commercial and residential developments
Requirements: To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Demonstrable experience working in a similar position within a UK consultancy - candidates with 6 months+ experience can be considered for this role
- Proficiency in acoustic modelling software (e.g., CadnaA, INSUL, SoundPLAN)
Duties: As an Assistant Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting noise surveys and assessments in various environments
- Performing acoustic modeling and analysis using industry-standard software
- Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to develop effective noise control strategies
- Technical report writing
