Senior IT Engineer
Hybrid working 3 days onsite per week in London
Are you a skilled IT professional with a passion for infrastructure and technology solutions? We're looking for a Senior IT Engineer (Cloud focused) to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT services in a leading financial institution.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd/3rd line operational support for IT services, collaborating with third-party providers.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure system security.
- Extensive Azure Experience
- Support cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and enhance existing platforms to deliver new services.
- Strong Server management experience
- Maintain documentation and IT operational standards.
- Engage in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Communicate technical solutions to various stakeholders, including senior management.
**Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in financial services (preferred).
- Azure Administrator Associate Certification (AZ-104) and expertise in Microsoft Azure service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- 3+ years of experience managing Microsoft Servers (2012-2019), Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration.
**Essential Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in server management, VMWare, SAN, and network administration.
- Proficiency in ITSM systems (Sunrise preferred), SQL Server management, and IT monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog).
- Experience with Microsoft System Centre (SCCM) and the ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
