Role: Head Chef
Location: The Portland HospitalShifts: Flexible shift patterns to suit you, between Monday and Sunday, 6:30am to 10pm

As Head Chef you'll have the skills, knowledge and expertise to ensure your catering service is simply exemplary. As well as being a food guru, you'll have the skills to make sure the department operates within its budget, and is properly staffed at all times.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for a special kind of person to join us – someone who is keen to bring their commercial expertise to bear in creating new taste and nutritional experiences for patients and staff. As well as this you'll:
- be qualified to City & Guilds 706/1/2 or equivalent
- have either Intermediate or Advanced food hygiene qualifications
- fully understand Health and Safety at Work Regulations in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and Hygiene Regulation Act 1971
- be able to show managerial experience in a similar environment
- have a track record in working at a fast-pace to high quality standards
- display excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with a commitment to developing a creative service
