**Junior Mechanical Engineer / Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan / €30,000 - €35,000
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer, Production Planner, or Sales/Estimating Engineer with CNC Machining knowledge? Do you have a passion for precision engineering and an excellent understanding of the turning process? This opportunity could be perfect for you!
**Location / Hours:
- Location: Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm (Friday 8.00am - 2.30pm)
**Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design using 3D CAD to improve products, jigs, and fixtures.
- Preparation of technical documentation, including manufacturing SOPs, maintenance manuals, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Preparation of scope documentation for mechanical packages.
- Review and analysis of supplies and materials ensuring technical compliance.
- Management of package procurement schedules to ensure timely deliveries on site.
- Assisting the wider project support team functions where necessary (Quality, Commissioning).
- Carrying out document control, recording, and transmitting information.
**Qualifications:
- Degree: Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Minimum Level 7).
**Experience:
- 0-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably on mechanical projects.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Preferably Autodesk Inventor).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite, notably Excel and Word.
- Experience in a full life cycle project environment (Pre-Construction to handover).
- Other beneficial experience includes data analysis, ERP systems, industrial automation, and Lean 6-Sigma.
**Salary / Benefits:
- Salary: €30,000 - €35,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience).
- Holidays: 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays + additional Christmas shutdown from midday on the 23rd of December to the 3rd of January each year.
