Contract Personnel Thetford are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Brandon who are looking for an Assembly Finisher.
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Undertaking hand soldering of electronic components onto PCBs (printed circuit boards)
- Soldering of cable into connectors
- Testing of sub-assemblies and final assemblies (training will be given).
- Other duties will include picking of works orders; stock taking; answering goods in door.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow written instructions and/or samples is essential as the company produces many different assemblies.
- Good attention to detail, i.e. to ensure the correct components are fitted (many look almost identical) and that they are fitted and tested accurately.
- Varied role requiring a dynamic individual who can use their initiative
- Team player and happy to help at all times
- Previous experience in assembly
Pay Rate
- £11.75 ph PAYE
Shifts / Days and Times
8.00 – 5.00 Monday to Thursday
8.00 – 2.30pm Friday
