opportunity within our Estates team. Due to the continued growth potential, we
are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to build on an exciting area
of the Leased and Tenanted Estate and drive further development. This is a
fantastic opportunity to join a growing team working in some of the best
locations and venues in the South West.
What it's like to be a Business Development Manager
Living in the South West, your role as a Business Development Manager will be to lead
and inspire an area of the St Austell Brewery leased and tenanted pubs. You
will help to deliver the leased and tenanted business plan which will include
the achievement of targets relating to area profitability, sales growth, credit
control and capital investment.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
- To inspire and create energy and excellence in the Tenants
they lead. Give insight and business guidance on the creation of an exceptional
guest experience
- Deliver financial area targets and demonstrate detailed
commercial awareness and accountability
- Be a visible presence in their area, including weekend and
evening visits
- Nurture and demonstrate a culture of positive challenge
within their area and the company
- Drive positive and collaborative working practices with
other areas of the business, key stakeholders, suppliers and customers
- Deliver capital investment and returns in excess of target
as defined by business and company requirements
Key Experience:
The successful candidate for this role would ideally have
previous multi-site management experience and understand the accountability and
management of P&L.
