preparationntonsulting have instructions to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant
The company:- Is a highly successful Hospitality business and generates revenues in access of £30m. With multiple sites in the UK the business continues to experience rapid growth and now requires a part qualified accountant to support the finance team.
The Role:- Will be to assist the Financial controller with the preparation of the mnanagement accounts pack. Responsibilities incl:- Month and year end accounting, cashflow forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, assist with the budget prepartion and variance analysis, oversee the bank reconciliations, maintain sales & payment accounts and ensure Trial Balances are clean and accurate.
The person:- AAT graduate part qualified finalist ACCA/CIMA studier, with at least 2/3 years previous management accounting experience. Well presented, confident and outgoing, comfortable engaging with senior management and supporting the finance team with a range of accounting projects. Ideally the candidate will be looking to qualify CIMA/ACCA and keen to get all round exposure to preparation and presentation of the management accounts pack. .
