This role is perfect for someone with a deep passion for Music and a strong commitment to supporting students in achieving their full potential. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, creative, and able to inspire and motivate students.

The course includes classical music and composition, with opportunities to lead enrichment activities such as a jazz band and choir. A strong expertise in A-Level Music is essential for this position.Responsibilities You will be responsible for:

  • Planning effectively and delivering high quality teaching, learning, assessment and support, leading to excellent attendance, retention and achievement.
  • To deliver formal scheduled teaching duties, tutorials (as appropriate) and student assessment.
  • To record, share and regularly monitor student progress using College information systems.
  • To prepare learning plans schemes of work, keep relevant records and undertake all administration relevant to teaching duties.
  • To attend parents' evenings, marketing and promotional events.

Requirements You will need:

  • Level 5 or equivalent Teaching Qualification such as Certificate in Education or PGCE or willingness to work towards this.
  • High level of specialist knowledge of the subject area
  • At least 2 years' experience in teaching the subject area to full-time or part-time students (Desirable).
  • Degree in relevant subject (Desirable)
