A bit about us

Headquartered in Newark-On-Trent Solid People is a recruitment consultancy operating within the CAD / Design industry. We work with clients all over the UK&I from a whole host of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, AEC, furniture, marine & product design. If a company designs a product, it's our job to help them build and grow their design teams.

The role

An entry level position ideal for those seeking their first job post education. It would suit a graduate looking to gain experience within a commercial role, or someone who wants to start a career within the recruitment industry.

You will have the opportunity to acquire and enhance several key skills, including sourcing & networking, communication written & verbal, client & candidate relationship management, sales negotiation, time management and industry knowledge.

Some of your core activities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting candidate searches through various platforms and databases.
  • Speaking with, and interviewing, candidates to check suitability for the vacancy.
  • Registering and importing candidates onto our in-house database.
  • Preparing CVs ready to be sent to Clients.
  • Taking and logging references for candidates.
  • Creating and sending vacancy details to candidates.
  • Candidate aftercare.

No previous recruitment experience is necessary as full training and support with be given.
