We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Transport client for a
Commercial
Electrician
to join them on a permanent basis in the Southwark area! My client are heavily involved in the strategy of improving transport across the capital, whether that's travel via bus, rail, underground or roads!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a
Commercial
Electrician
to join the maintenance team on the commercial contract based within the Southwark area with regional travel, working across the various owned buildings and estates.
The
Commercial
Electrician
will need to be based within a commutable distance to Southwark, via Public Transport.
Commercial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Undertaking electrical and building maintenance works across various sites across central London.
- Carrying out PPM servicing, fault-finding and reactive breakdown repairs to electrical building services systems and infrastructure
- Working on power, 3-Phase, distribution, lighting/emergency lighting, lamp/ballast/socket repairs and alarms.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation + ECS Card
- 18th Edition
- Capable electrical installation experience
- Previously worked in commercial environments (offices)
- City & Guilds Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) – would be useful.
- Proven reactive maintenance experience.
