Finance Manager | Up to £60k | Maidstone
We are delighted to be working exclusively with our privately-owned client who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to their growing team as the business grows and increases it's industry presence. They are a company that prides themselves on having a fantastic company culture and are looking for someone who is commercially minded who can build strong relationships within the business.
Key Duties for this role include -
- Monitoring the day to day financial operations for the group with overall responsibility for Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers
- Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments, and accounting entries
- Preparation of monthly management reports and provision of commentary
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and division heads to review projects and provide financial analysis
- Provide support to department heads to ensure budgets remain on track
- Ensure financial accounting, controls and reporting are developed and documented
- Prepare and present statutory accounts
- Lead the payroll, VAT and HMRC processes
- Development and mentorship of junior finance team members
- Liaise with external parties in completion of tax, audit and banking
The ideal candidate will -
- Be fully qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA or candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be commercially minded and thrive in an organisation that is growing and changing
- Be able to build strong business relationships
- Strong analytical skills and always be looking to add value
- Experience working for a private equity business is desirable but not essential
