Nigel Wright are delighted to be exclusively supporting a manufacturing business in County Durham with their search for an Accounts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and register purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of supplier statements
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow forecasting
- Support accounts receivable by accurately posting incoming payments and maintaining up-to-date records
- Act as a first point of contact for both customer and supplier queries, delivering professional and helpful service
- Assist with the smooth running of daily operations within the accounts department
The Person
Skills and attributes:
- Bring a proactive, inquisitive mindset and a positive, "can-do" attitude
- Be confident using IT systems, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Have experience working in a fast-paced accounts environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally, with a confident telephone manner
