The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment are working with a traditional legal practice to hire an experienced Legal Secretary to join their successful family department.
This is an excellent role if you are an experienced Legal Secretary or Administrator who is looking to work for a dynamic firm and be an integral part of the team. This role is based in Caerphilly and would be good for a local candidate who perhaps currently commutes to the city.
This is what you will be doing:
As a Legal Secretary in this role, you will be dealing with a whole range of administrative duties within a small team, supporting 1 fee earner. The work will include:
- Digital dictation
- Audiotyping
- Producing court bundles
- Keeping records up to date.
- Typing up legal documents.
- Answering the phone.
- Organising diaries.
- Performing legal research.
- Making appointments with clients
The experience you will bring to the team:
The ideal candidate will have extensive legal administration or secretarial experience within the legal sector.
- Previous experience with audiotyping and digital dictation
- 2 years of experience in legal administration and secretarial work
- Have strong communication skills
- Have strong computer and case management system skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work to strict deadlines
