What We're Looking For:
- A knowledgeable SEN teacher with experience in Autism or other SEN specialisms
- Passionate about working with children with ASD, using empathy and patience to support their individual needs
- Able to manage and adapt behaviour management techniques to each student's requirements
- Experience with PECS is highly desirable but not essential
- Flexible, caring, and determined to help students thrive
SEN Teacher (Autism) - Canterbury
Your Role:
- Deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with ASD
- Manage behaviour using strategies suited to individual students
- Support both verbal and non-verbal students, creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with colleagues, leading your department and supporting others to create a cohesive teaching strategy
