Reed Engineering and Manufacturing are excited to recruit on behalf of a leading manufacturer in Rugby. We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join a dynamic team. Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Electrical & Mechanical Fitter:

  • Interpret and build from electrical and mechanical drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical systems and components.
  • Perform mechanical fitting and assembly work to high standards.
  • Self-inspect all work for quality compliance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes and participate in stock-take duties.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and contribute to training apprentices and semi-skilled workers.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Electrical & Mechanical Fitter:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring and circuit diagrams, as well as mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Proficient in using tools of the trade, including power tools, test equipment, and measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality products.
