Finance Transformation/SAP Implementation

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000
Contract: 12-month FTC
Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading employer in Leeds, seeking a highly skilled professional for a Finance Transformation/SAP Implementation role. This is a critical position for an experienced finance professional with expertise working as part of a finance transformation team to support in the implementation of SAP. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising financial systems and processes, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the finance transformation project, focusing on SAP implementation across the organisation
- Working closely with finance and IT teams to ensure systems meet business requirements
- Mapping, redesigning, and improving financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Ensuring successful integration of SAP with existing finance systems and procedures
- Supporting project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while mitigating risks
- Providing training and support to key stakeholders to ensure effective system adoption
- Collaborating with senior management to ensure alignment of the transformation project with overall business goals
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in supporting a SAP implementation within a finance function
- Strong background in finance transformation and process improvement
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of financial systems and reporting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
