**Job Summary:

The Metals Risk Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to metals trading, including base and precious metals. **Key Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Identification and Assessment:
  • Analyze and assess risks associated with metals trading activities.

  • Monitor market trends and geopolitical events that could impact metal prices and trading volumes.

  • Evaluate counterparty risk and credit exposure.

  1. Market Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of metal markets, including supply and demand factors, price trends, and economic indicators.

  • Prepare regular reports on market conditions, risk exposures, and potential impacts on the company's trading activities.

  1. Risk Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Continuously monitor trading positions and market movements.

  • Develop and maintain risk dashboards and reporting tools.

  • Provide timely risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.

**Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • Strong understanding of metals markets and trading practices.

  • Experience with risk management tools and systems.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
