We are seeking a Technical Solutions Manager to join our team and drive business growth in a niche market, focusing on providing specialised project engineering services.

My client operates in a highly specialised field providing project engineering services that span from process handling to equipment installations and refurbishments.

About the Role:

As the Technical Solutions Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and creating opportunities for both existing and new clients. You will be responsible for developing sales and project prospects, conducting site visits, making presentations, and preparing technical designs and business cases. This position demands a keen ability to interpret customer enquiries and offer tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Development: Expand and maintain a profitable client base by being the primary point of contact.
  • Sales and Project Management: Lead the sales process from initial enquiry to project completion, including creating quotations, tenders, and detailed reports.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitors, providing strategic insights and innovative ideas.
  • Networking: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and promote the company's services.
  • Design and Documentation: Prepare detailed Engineering Design Studies and business cases, including cost breakdowns.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in engineering and technical sales
  • A background in the pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum
  • Access to hire/pool cars
  • Private medical health scheme option post-probation
  • Pension contribution of 5% of annual salary
  • Inclusion in the company life insurance policy (4x salary payout)
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, with 3 days to be taken during the Christmas and New Year period
