City Elite are seeking an exceptional Commercial/Corporate Lawyer for an international Energy Trading and Shipping firm, based in their London office.
This is in in-house role, being a key memeber of their in-house legal team.
Role Overview:
- Handle diverse commercial and corporate legal matters
- Focus on energy sector transactions and regulations
- Work globally with trading, finance, and operations teams
- Mentor junior legal team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- Advise on corporate structuring and governance
- Support business expansion in LNG and alternative fuels
- Manage M&A and joint venture transactions
- Provide real-time commercial legal guidance
Required:
- English-qualified solicitor/foreign lawyer
- 2-3 years PQE from City/International law firm
- Strong commercial and corporate law expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
