Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks in accordance with industry standards and project specifications
- Ensure all welds meet the required quality and safety standards
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints
- Conduct inspections and tests on welded joints
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Requirements:
- Valid coding certification (BS EN ISO 9606 or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a coded welder in an industrial or construction setting
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel to different job sites as required
