Position: Senior Media & Entertainment Insurance Broker

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £80,000 - £120,000+ (based on experience)

The Opportunity

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Media & Entertainment Insurance Broker to join their team. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding their established portfolio of TV production and advertising agency business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing direct and wholesale accounts, utilising both inhouse facilities and open market placements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Effectively manage an existing portfolio of TV production and advertising agency clients, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the media and entertainment sector to grow the portfolio.
  • Account Management: Handle direct and wholesale accounts, providing tailored insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Placements: Execute placements through inhouse facilities and the open market, ensuring competitive and comprehensive coverage for clients.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other key stakeholders within the industry.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide expert advice on risk management strategies specific to the media and entertainment industry.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and to leverage collective expertise for the benefit of clients.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed guidance and maintain a competitive edge.

What's needed for me to be considered?

  • Proven experience as a Media & Entertainment Insurance Broker, with a strong track record of managing TV production and advertising agency accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance products, market dynamics, and risk management strategies within the media and entertainment sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
