Service Charge Co-ordinator

Role Overview

A new role for a Service Charge Co-ordinator is available in our service charge team based in Birmingham, working closely with the team and is a good introduction to service charge and property management within Savills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Updating service charge database and ensuring instructions are issued in line with timelines.
  • Liaising with property managers, client accountants and external accountants to ensure all necessary information is received and queries resolved.
  • Preparing year end reports and supplementary information assisting the service charge team.
  • Involvement in ongoing service charge projects.
  • Assist service charge team with workload where appropriate

Key Skills

  • Computer literate, specifically with Excel and Word (Intermediate level required in excel ie.VLOOKUPS/Pivot Tables)
  • Well organised with good initiative. Ability to manage own time is essential to meet KPI deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional manner, ability to communicate at all levels
  • Team player

The service charge team has 6 team members and responsible for driving the service charge strategy within Savills with the key focus on KPI performance. We are a growing team which offers potential for personal development with a high profile within Savills property management.
