We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading business based in Ipswich, who are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Business Development Executive to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in sales and business development. You will receive comprehensive training with the goal of developing into a key player in the companies business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers and services.
  • Assist in sourcing potential leads and encouraging relationships with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare proposals, presentations and sales materials.
  • Participate in meetings with potential clients to understand their needs.
  • Attend industry events, conferences and exhibitions.
  • Maintain and update the companies system.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • A genuine interest in business development and sales with a desire to grown within the industry.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Educated to A Level minimum or a degree in Business, marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential.
