Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £12 - £14 per hour
Shift Pattern: 10pm - 7am, working on a rota basis
Our client is looking for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join their team at a 2-bedded service in Wolverhampton. This role involves providing crucial overnight support to children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, overnight care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of the children and young people during the night.
- Respond promptly to any needs, incidents, or emergencies that may arise.
- Assist with bedtime routines and help maintain a calm and restful environment.
- Complete necessary overnight documentation and reports in line with organisational policies.
- Work collaboratively with the day team to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities.
- A compassionate, patient, and caring attitude.
- The ability to stay alert and responsive during night shifts.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Reliability and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
