Job title: Interim Director of Finance
Duration: 6 months
Salary: £85k - £95k
Location: A short walk from Putney station

Are you an experienced Director of Finance who passionate about giving back by working for a charity who does meaningful work by supporting children and young people in fostering?
In this incredibly diverse and busy role you will oversee the day to day operations of the finance team of 4 people whilst working closely with the SLT and the CEO is helping the charity meet its strategy.
Your duties as the interim Director of Finance will include;
- Work closely with the CEO, Trustees and sub-committee and provide accurate and timely budgets and financial management information
- To work collaboratively with the SLT and the Board in overseeing the implementation of the charities overall strategy
- To lead on audit process, responding to auditors comments and taking necessary corrective actions
- Lead on financial planning including reserve policy
- Work closely with the CEO and fundraising to ensure the charity best chance possible at securing contracts and bids
- To ensure the charity is fully compliant with legal and requirements
The skills that you will bring to your role as Interim Director of Finance will include;
- Experience of leading financial operations and strategy of a charity
- Prior of working knowledge charity governance and compliance
- Relevant accounting qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA
- Working knowledge of collaborating with fundraising to submit bids and contracts
