We are seeking a Customer Fulfilment Centre Advisor to join our team and provide high-quality, customer-focused services. This role is essential in assisting residents, businesses, and partners, and is based within a local authority's Customer Fulfilment Centre. The successful candidate will handle a variety of tasks including call taking, request logging, and administrative duties across Council Tax and Housing Benefits services.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver excellent customer service by providing accurate and up-to-date advice.
  • Understand customer needs and handle difficult situations with sensitivity.
  • Use multiple systems to input and extract information, requiring experience with various computer packages.
  • Deal with a range of enquiries through face-to-face interactions, telephone, email, and text messaging.

About you:

  • Knowledge and experience in Council Tax and Housing Benefits.
  • Experience in a support or help desk function within a customer-facing environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to handle a broad range of customer enquiries.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative, thriving in a fast-paced Customer Fulfilment Centre.
  • Proficient in using a variety of computer packages for data input and retrieval.
