We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a mixed Year 5 and Year 6 class. This long-term temporary role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to make a significant impact on the educational journey of their students for the entire academic year.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to a mixed class of Year 5 and Year 6 students.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress and providing feedback.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly with mixed Year 5 and Year 6 classes.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
