Known for our high quality, honesty, and personal service across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and London, they are currently seeking a skilled Welder to contribute to our legacy of hand-forged gates, railings, and custom metalwork.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform welding tasks using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
- Maintain and operate welding equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to fabricate metal structures and components based on job orders.
- Conduct tests and inspections of welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Welder.
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures, including MIG, TIG, flame cutting, and brazing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
- Deftness and attention to detail.
- Professional certification in welding would be an advantage.
