Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client, a fashion brand near Leeds, to recruit a Retoucher.
This Retoucher is responsible for the editing and retouching of photography for use on the website and across other marketing channels. You may also assist in general artwork production and reprographics where required.
Technical Requirements for the Retoucher
- Working closely with the photographer / Head of Creative to ensure a smooth process, striving to maintain and improve upon the original intent of the imagery.
- Assisting in editing of all seasonal e-commerce product imagery, including flat and model shots.
- Retouching, cutting out, manipulating and colour-correcting.
- Editing seasonal lifestyle images under instruction of Head of Creative.
- Filing images in a logical and accurate manner, effectively managing any image corrections.
- Liaising with other departments to provide a smooth and accurate workflow.
- Ensuring all work is delivered to specified deadlines.
- Ensuring high quality standards are maintained throughout the process.
Experience / Skills for the Retoucher
- You will be highly proficient in retouching techniques using Photoshop and have a good knowledge of InDesign and artwork set up.
- You should have a proactive approach to work, always looking to improve output with new ideas and suggestions and have a knowledge of the photography process.
- You should have the ability to handle numerous briefs and requests, all with varying degrees of priority and deadline constraints.
- You must be unflappable and able to multi-task - excellent communications skills are key. You will be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels.
- We require a team player; willing to collaborate and share ideas, as well as being able to accept constructive feedback from colleagues.
- You will have creative flair, be well organised and self-motivated, and have meticulous attention to detail coupled with a professional and collaborative demeanour.
